Introduction to the project

So, here we go!
Since the step-1 has been achieved (basic authorization from the author + gathering of
the very core team), we now can assemble the project basis on a forum: step-2 in progress.
How many remaining steps, how long still is the road to achievement? we wouldn't know,
Whatever, we're on the way and as long as we feel like we enjoy it, there is no reason we stop...

what is Varletengine?
Basically, Varlet Engine is a translation from a french concept, "le moteur Varlet", which
has been created around 25 years ago by a smart author, but which will not be in use
before the 70th century. It is doubtful any of us will last long enough to see it working, but
who cares?
For those who didn't guess yet, this temporary name is currently hiding a game project.
The project itself can't be explained in details here, but we nonetheless have been allowed
to say that it is inspired from a traditional role-playing game (1984), and
that it is now in progress to become a space opera MMORPG].

language
We, the Core team, belong to different countries. So far, french and german people who
still have dreams. We expect (suspect and wish!) other natives to join as well one day or
another. Therefore the main (and only) language used here will be english. An english-like at
least, and we use this occasion to apologize for our tongue/typing mistakes, even if we tend
to make it better everyday...

the rules
Assuming we're all smart and decent enough to make the difference between a good joke
and a stupid arguing, there is no rule that deserves a specific warning. We simply ask people
who participate in this forum to consider respect and fair attitude towards others. A great
power implies great responsibilities, and although we rather like auto-discipline than
banishment, you have to remind that "what you spread is what you get"!
